The Holy Martyr Cynecius (Razumnik) Commemorated on December 12 The Holy Martyr Cynecius (Razumnik) (Cynecius is derived from the Greek word "synetos", – meaning "man of reason") was by birth a Roman, and was a reader in the Roman Church under Pope Sixtus (257-258).
